I think at one point in time, a person reflects on those they grew up and went to school with. They meditate on how much the people around them have changed, or even died unexpectedly. It’s a very haunting and sometimes depressing thing to ponder. Every time I hear the song “The Kids Aren’t Alright” by the Offspring, I’m reminded of those around me and the life choices they have made. It’s a song we can all relate to, maybe not so much lyrically, but rather our own life experiences.
